SNOW ANGEL AND ZEPHYR - WE CONTROL THE SKY

History

Snow Angel (Angela Rayburn) started life as a rich, spoiled child. She grew up in the best neighborhoods, and was given everything. Her father was indicted, however, in a stock fraud scandal while Angela was in graduate school at MIT, studying to be a research scientist in chemical engineering. Her family lost everything, and Angela took a job as an engineer with a refrigeration company in Pittsburgh, PA.

During high school, Angela was on a trip with her family to Canada during the winter months, to visit relatives. While skating with friends, she fell through the ice and was under the near-freezing water for over an hour. She was pulled from the water and pronounced dead. Nevertheless, the paramedics and physicians attempted to bring her temperature up slowly, and she was eventually revived successfully, with no apparent permanent damage. Several months later, however, she began to manifest the ability to control her body's temperature and the temperature of water in the air around her. She kept her powers secret, and for a time in college tried to become a superhero on her own (with some success, but eventual disaster). She has supressed her abilities since that time, although she secretly yearned for many years to become a superhero, and eventually did, in 2005.

She was sucked to an alternate dimension with some of the members of AlertForce, and had to use her paranormal abilities to survive. Afterwards, she became a full fledged superhero, living for a time in Miami (where she helped avert a hurricane disaster). She was later asked by Iron Maiden and Afterburner to join them in a super team in Pittsburgh, called PMS. She became its leader in late 2005. She had many battles with street criminals in and around Pittsburgh, and most notably helped capture the murderous ex-member of the 80's gang, the Walkman.

Snow Angel has recently begun a relationship with the popular Icelandic hero known as "Number 10" and has spent the last few months traveling the world with him, fighting crime wherever they go, in his airship.
